MY SPOUSE AND I GO TO STORMS WEEKLY AND ARE VERY IMPRESSED WITH EVERYTHING THEY HAVE TO OFFER. BESIDES WHERE ELSE CAN YOU GO AND EAT OUT ON THE RIVER? I THINK THAT THIS IS A FANCY LITTLE RESTAURANT WHERE YOUR PRICES ARE GOOD AND THE FOOD WELL VERY VERY TASTY. AS FOR THE PREVIOUS COMMENTS THE CHAIRS ARE AVERAGE AND I HAVE SEEN OVERSIZED PEOPLE IN THERE WHERE THEY WERE VERY COMFORTABLE. AND WHAT ARE YOU A CRITIC, WHY DONT YOU JUST STAY AT HOME AND CRITICISE YOUR OWN FOOD.

The food was good and reasonably priced. The service was average. The decor and location were great. This restaurant is excellent for the price. One of the best Kamloops has to offer.

I have been to this restaurant a few times and have always found the food to be excellent and the sevice to be good(the exception was father's day as the place was very busy long wait) and prices reasonable for the quality. Strangely, the things the previous reviewer found a problem I do not. I like the fact that the seats are fitted to average size people and I find large pieces of torn lettuce are messy and difficult to eat. I prefer smaller pieces. As for the service, I would have been more upset if I had to wait for my wine or entree. This is a nice little restaurant.

The food was Excellent as well as the service

We had heard a lot about this restaurant being one of the better places to go to in town. Sadly we were dissappointed. The greeting was fine, we sit down and found the chairs'legs were too small. We decide to go ahead with the meal, after all the food is supposed to be good. During the course of being served, we had not had time to finish our beer before the salad was already on the table. Caesar's salad. The lettuce was chopped small, not torn, making it difficult to eat. If that weren't enough the waitress brings the wine during the time we are eating the salad, not after. Even before we have time to finish our salad, the meal is brought to the table. This made us feel rushed. When asking the question on how we liked our meal, she did not even wait to get a comment from my partner. Although I did find my meal good, my partner was very dissappointed with the penne. The penne was lost in the sauce, and the sauce lacked flavour. The penne was not completely finished and no question was even offered by the waitress asking if there was anything wrong with the meal. Needless to say we are not recommending this restaurant. We advised our son to cancel his reservation and go to another restaurant in town. After all, tonight is the night he wants to propose to his girlfriend, he doesn't want to spoil the evening with a terrible experience at a mediocre restaurant.
